Tiesta Tea | I'm Hooked

If you're anything like me, it's a hot cup of tea over coffee any day. From herbal to black, fruity to bitter… the options are endless, not to mention all of the amazing health benefits you can get from drinking it. But it wasn't until recently, when I was introduced to loose leaf, that my real passion & appreciate for tea came out! For years, I was a tea-bag kind of girl- quick, simple and instant (lazy much). I didn't understand why someone would take the time to brew a cup of tea when you could just slip a bag in some hot water and call it a day… no no no, I was wrong!! One morning, I went over to a friends house to pick up some books and she asked if I wanted something to drink… of course I said tea! But what I wasn't expecting was for her to pull out a jar of loose leaf tea and a miniature spaghetti strainer (from which I now know is called a tea infuser) LOL!!! And being the curious soul I am, I was determined to watch and see how this pro-longed process worked. It wasn't until I took my first sip that I was HOOKED! The time, effort and QUALITY of the tea I drank that morning forever changed the game for me.

….But most importantly, it was the loose leaf itself that made me want to #LiveLoose forever. I will now introduce you to my favorite loose leaf tea, the tea that forever-changed me that day: TIESTA TEA

Flavor-to-Function:

One thing I absolutely love about Tiesta Tea is the fact that they have 5 functions (categories) and 10 flavors within each to choose from… which is amazing because it can definitely be overwhelming to find a loose leaf right for me. Here are the five functions: Immunity, Energizer, Slenderizer (yes ma'am), Eternity and Relaxer. This has been so helpful when deciding which tea to drink! When I wake up in the morning, the first think I do is brew my Tiesta Tea energizer… and by the end of the night you can find me sipping on some Tiesta Tea relaxer!

The best part about Tiesta Tea is how affordable it is! If you know anything about loose leaf tea, you know that it can definitely come at a higher cost than most bagged-tea brands out there… which is one reason why I originally stayed away from #livingloose. Depending on how much tea you drink, you can pick up a 2 oz bag of this deliciousness at your local Walmart for under $10 ($9.42 for a 2oz bag)!! They also come in a 5.5oz tin can for just $14!!! What a steal, seriously. Typically, the average loose leaf (2oz) retails anywhere from $15-$30, so you are definitely getting a bang for your buck with Tiesta Tea. And I promise you, it's worth every penny.

I won't go in details with my favorite flavors, because honestly I love them all. But I will say that, hands down, Tiesta Tea loose leaf is my absolute favorite and I won't be going back.
